Huerta de Soto advocating free banking? Ddnixx 09:11, 26 April 2011 (MSD)

The whole article was taken over from Wikipedia, along with the problems - there seem to be two mixed up concepts of "free banking" - one as a simple free market point of view (no regulation of banks), which many Austrians may subscribe to; and another that is in some way distinct, focusing on Fractional Reserve Banking, notably represented by Selgin and White. Personally I'd scrap the whole page and rewrite it from the scratch, but I lack the knowledge about what exactly constitutes the 'Free Banking' position. The whole topic seems to be also a currently running discussion. If you can help the article, please do. Pestergaines 21:29, 26 April 2011 (MSD)
The discussion here may shed some light on the topic. Pestergaines 16:48, 11 May 2011 (MSD)
