Parameters

Currently all parameters are required

* {{mb|ID |Title |Author |Date}}
* {{mb| id = ID | Circle Bastiat article title = Title | author name = Author | date = Date}}

Detailed instructions

  1. Copy and paste the syntax above into the Mises Wiki article
  2. Go to http://Mises.org and search for the Circle Bastiat blog article you want (say, "Paul vs. Paul: the Video"; you'll see a list of all parts of the site that point to that title.)
  3. Hover your mouse pointer over the hyperlinks and find the one that has "bastiat.mises.org/" in the URL: http://bastiat.mises.org/2012/04/paul-vs-paul-the-video/
  4. Once you find that page, you'll need to copy the string that comes after ".org/".
  5. You can click that link and go to the page and and copy the number from the address bar in your browser, or alternatively you can right-click (or ctrl+click on a Mac) on the hyperlink and "Copy link location" to your clipboard.
  6. Copy only that string (here, we're using "2012/04/paul-vs-paul-the-video/")
  7. Replace "ID" with the string and "Title" with "Paul vs. Paul: the Video" (note: there is no need for the quotes) and "Author" with Daniel J. Sanchez (note: you can hyperlink this part, preferably to the Mises Wiki article for the author) and "Date with April 2012"
    * {{cb|2012/04/paul-vs-paul-the-video/|Paul vs. Paul: the Video|Daniel J. Sanchez|April 2012}} results in:

If you still have any doubts or questions about the use of the template, you can ask at User talk:Pestergaines (or User talk:John James).

Future development

  • Allow for only three parameters (ID, Title, Date) for sections with many articles by the same author, like here.
