Israel Meir Kirzner (also Yisroel Mayer Kirzner; born February 13, 1930) is a Jewish-American economist and rabbinical scholar. He studied under Ludwig von Mises at New York University for graduate school, where he then taught until his retirement in the early 2000s. He is a leading economist in the Austrian School.
