Written by John Maynard Keynes, The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money (often referred to as simply the General Theory) was his magnum-opus. It is considered among most modern non-Austrian economists to be the most important work in economic theory, and has undoubtedly been the most influential book on economics since its introduction in 1936; one key contribution was Keynes' refutation of Say's law.
