Business Tides: The Newsweek Era of Henry Hazlitt is a book composed of the entire collection of articles written by journalist and economist Henry Hazlitt during his employment at Newsweek magazine. "Business Tides" was the title of Hazlitt's column which ran in Newsweek from 1946 until the publishing of his final column for the magazine on September 12th, 1966. Written from a classical liberal standpoint with a grounding in Austrian economics, Hazlitt's columns covered the economic and political issues of the day concentrating on topics such as inflation, Keynesian economics, tax policy, price controls as well as a wide variety of other forms of government intervention. The volume includes a lengthy introduction writtern by Paul Milazzo which provides a thematic and historical perspective of Hazlitt's articles.
