Hjalmar Schacht

Hjalmar Horace Greeley Schacht (22 January 1877–3 June 1970) was a German economist and banker, notable for his role in the creation of the Rentenmark and the stabilization of German economy after the Weimar hyperinflation. He was also for a time also associated with the Nazi regime.
