Natural right

Natural right is an illusory right supposedly conferred upon individuals by natural law. The emptiness of appealing to any "natural" right becomes evident when an opponent claims a contrary or inconsistent "natural" right. Such differences can only be resolved by resort to sound and effective reasoning.[1]
