Plain state of rest
From Mises Wiki, the global repository of classical-liberal thought
Plain state of rest is the condition where there is a cessation of all market transactions because, for the time being, no potential buyers or sellers believe they could improve their conditions by further transactions at quoted prices. This is a temporary period that disappears as soon as such conditions disappear.[1]
