Das Kapital

Das Kapital, by Karl Marx, is a highly critical examination of the workings of capitalism as Marx conceived the latter to be. It does not attempt to address the criticisms of socialism. Louis M. Spadaro notes that in Socialism, Ludwig von Mises likewise critically examined socialist and pseudo-socialist systems without defending his own preferred system. A major difference between the two authors is that Mises defended the free enterprise system in a separate book, Liberalism, while Marx never wrote a book to defend socialism.[1]
