I happened to come across the Mises Freedom Calender from 2002... dated, but the anniversaries don't get any older! :) Pestergaines 16:30, 9 January 2011 (CST)

Pretty much completed January - beware though, as not all dates in the calender are correct! It is a good inspiration, needs checking, though. Pestergaines 08:17, 13 January 2011 (CST)
Also, use your judgment; some of the entries in the calendar I feel aren't that interesting and don't really relate to "classical liberal" thought (though perhaps I'm unnecessarily biased toward history and politics). --Forgottenman (talk) 08:24, 13 January 2011 (CST)
Yes, it's sometimes hard to pick a good event for a date. Maybe we need a drive for Anniversaries to get rid of the task once and for all, they are still spamming the Wanted page. :) Pestergaines 09:29, 28 January 2011 (CST)

Since this seems to be a task without an end, I was wondering how many days are actually covered, and how many are still left (the calendar listing doesn't seem to move that much). But lo and behold - the Category:Anniversaries by day lists them all; as of now 197 days. So it's quite a bit over half of the 365! Still a lot to do, but not hopeless anymore. Red link

Is there any way to escape the red link in the 'printed' anniversaries, even those that already exist? Pestergaines 15:32, 22 August 2011 (MSD)

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. --Forgottenman (talk) 15:44, 22 August 2011 (MSD)
Sorry, should have been clearer - see for example the main page, under This Week in history - all the anniversaries start with a red link for their day. Pestergaines 16:25, 22 August 2011 (MSD)
Ah yes. Those are links to the "articles" for each date (see wikipedia:January_1, for example). I'm not sure that we necessarily want such pages on this wiki, but I included the links just in case. I'd be okay with removing them. --Forgottenman (talk) 16:32, 22 August 2011 (MSD)
Do we have any of those pages? I don't mind having the option, just would like to get rid of the red color on the main page. Pestergaines 16:41, 22 August 2011 (MSD)
I see... of course we'd have to change the anniversary pages that contain the red links. Will try to fix that later tonight, if that's okay with you. Pestergaines 18:05, 22 August 2011 (MSD)
No, we don't have any of them. It'd probably be easiest to do this with a bot. --Forgottenman (talk) 18:58, 22 August 2011 (MSD)
I think I like it better without bold -- what do you think? --Forgottenman (talk) 21:54, 22 August 2011 (MSD)
Looks better, and I've finally got my AWB working again. Done! Pestergaines 22:15, 24 August 2011 (MSD)

300

We've got 300 anniversaries! Woot! Pestergaines 17:21, 13 June 2012 (MSD)
