Supermajority
From Mises Wiki, the global repository of classical-liberal thought
A supermajority is a voting threshold of greater than 50% + 1. Supermajority requirements for passing certain laws are sometimes viewed as a protection of minority rights.[1] The ultimate supermajority requirement is unanimous consent. In jury trials, a unanimous vote is required to convict a defendant.
