Introduction Too long

The introduction section is far too long. Anyone coming here to learn who Mises was isn't going to spend the time reading the whole thing, most of the information should be in the sections below. Here is my proposed intro:

Proposed intro

Ludwig von Mises was one of the most notable economists and social philosophers of the twentieth century. In the course of a long and highly productive life he developed an integrated, deductive science of economics based on the fundamental axiom that individual human beings act purposively to achieve desired goals. Mises concluded that the only viable economic policy for the human race was a policy of unrestricted laissez-faire, with government strictly limited to the defense of person and property within its territorial area.

Mises successfully slowed a period of Austrian inflation in the 1920's as the chief economic adviser to the Austrian government. He was effectively barred from any paid university post in Austria and later in the United States, so he developed his own "private seminar" which attracted the outstanding young economists, social scientists, and philosophers throughout Europe. He founded the "neo-Austrian School" of economics and his business cycle theory was adopted by most younger economists in England in the early 1930s as the best explanation of the Great Depression.

Having fled the Nazis to the United States, Mises did some of his most important work here. In over two decades of teaching, he inspired an emerging Austrian School in the United States. Mises’s business cycle theory was the foundation for the work of F.A. Hayek, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in economics in 1973.

"Economics deals with society's fundamental problems; it concerns everyone and belongs to all. It is the main and proper study of every citizen."
Ludwig von Mises, Human Action

Feedback

Even this seems too long. By comparison wikipedia has a 4 line intro. Most of the main details are in the right side infobox. Does wiki.mises have an infobox template? Subsidiarity 01:36, 26 April 2011 (MSD)

Infobox

I put some info in an infobox. I couldn't figure out how to get the pic in there. Also, the infobox template is a pain in the but compared to wikipedia infobox template.

Break up 'professional life'

Like the intro, this part is too long. It could used some sub headings. And specifics about theory should not be in this article.
