This page is one of four that determines what editors see directly under the "Save page" and similar buttons on edit and upload pages. It is modeled after WP's edittools bar.
Here's how this works:
- Users with no javascript see MediaWiki:Edittools.
- Users with javascript see MediaWiki:Edittools.js (a one-row menu with a dropdown).
- They see this because MediaWiki:Common.js calls MediaWiki:Common.js/edit.js.
- Then, MediaWiki:Common.js/edit.js calls MediaWiki:Edittools.js
Thus, to make any changes for javascript users (most people), you must edit MediaWiki:Edittools.js.
