The Mises Wiki is a wiki owned and operated by the Ludwig von Mises Institute. Its purpose is to write and maintain an up-to-date encyclopedia covering economic and political topics from an Austrian point of view. Daniel James Sanchez called editing the wiki "very fun and addictive" and invited other Misesian amateur and professional scholars to write and expand its articles.[2] Mises Wiki reached the 1,000 article mark circa 1 February 2012.[3] Mises Wiki is a successor wiki to the Austrian Economics wiki, formerly hosted at Wikia. Mises Wiki's mainspace is reserved for encyclopedia-style articles,[4] while its essay namespace contains opinion pieces.[5]
